| La Bocca della Verità (The Mouth of Truth) is a marble mask which depicts the face of a man which resides in Rome, Italy. Starting from the Middle Ages, it was believed that if one told a lie with one's hand in the mouth of the sculpture, it would be bitten off.

| In commercial lighting, my practice believes that the genuine well-being of office space users is the key emphasis. We regard initiatives like the Well Standard to be timely and important - the intelligent application of lighting (and all other aspects of the built environment) rather than slavish adherence to energy codes and tables of recommended horizontal illuminance levels will help to ensure we are providing better spaces for these workers and that they can be more productive at work and feel better when they leave for home at the end of the working day.
