Technical textiles demand and industry development in China
In the first three quarters of this year, China's technical textile industry continued to develop strongly with a 59.5% year-on-year growth. As the domestic and even global textile industry restructured and the focus of its development shifted, technical textiles (known for their widely applicable and technologically innovative properties and functionality) have opened up new possibilities for downstream textile applications such as medical and health, safety protection, environmental protection, geotechnical construction, transportation, aerospace, new energy, agriculture, forestry and fishery, and thus are playing an increasingly important role in many fields.
Taking place from 22 – 24 June 2021 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Cinte Techtextil China 2021, the daughter show of Techtextil in Germany, will once again be the hub in the region for technical textile leaders to gather and grab the many business opportunities.
As witnessed at Cinte Techtextil in recent years, technical textiles, among many other new textile materials, have made significant technological progress, which has not only expanded their application scope, but also the depth.
Cinte Techtextil has attracted attention among upstream and downstream enterprises, institutions, markets and different clusters in the technical textile industry. It has become the go-to-fair for market-leading enterprises as it provides solutions from new product showcase, brand building, receiving orders, seeking collaboration, gaining trend insights and defining the direction of the global technical textile industry.
“We exhibit at Cinte Techtextil to look for customers in the technical fields… so this fair is a good place to find new customers.”
Mr Juerg Wyss, Managing Director, Abifor China Ltd, China (CTC20 exhibitor)
“We produce different functional fabrics for protective wear. The fair attracts people looking for apparel fabrics and also other products so this presents more opportunities to us, and also brings us more inspiration on product development.”
Ms Chen Ping, General Manager, IBENA Textilwerke GmbH, Germany (CTC20 exhibitor)
“Cinte Techtextil is a good platform for us, and the chance for us to establish business agreements are usually pretty high which is one of the key reasons why we continue to participate in every edition of the fair. Through the participation of this seminar, we were able to introduce our latest antimicrobial concepts and technologies to many fairgoers.”
Mr Liu Yong, Sales Manager of Polymer Additives, Sanitized (China) Ltd (CTC20 exhibitor)
Cinte Techtextil wrapped up its 2020 edition with a record-breaking success, hosting 409 exhibitors across 38,000 sqm and attracting over 15,300 visits, a 16% increase.
